3D Marker hands
We are learning how Contour lines can create illusion of 3D object on a 2D surface
Contour lines tell the viewer the real shape of an object for example the contour lines on the hand curve over the hand to show that it more rounded then the flat surface of the table.
Watch the Video first and the picture below also summarizes the process!
Materials - 9x12 white paper, black marker, your choice of coloring tool (crayons, markers, colored pencils)

Warm and Cool Snakes!
If you don't want to draw snakes you can draw something else that is wiggly, like an octopus with wiggly legs! Or flowery vines. Just make sure you give them a pattern or some detail with the marker and to color them!. And definitely make sure to make the triangle pattern behind your wiggly doodle!
Pattern Snail
If you don't like snails that's ok! You can draw any animal you want for this project as long as you draw sections in different colored patterns like the snail. Maybe a penguin? Or a fluffy cat? Or a dinosaur! Maybe you can draw your favorite animal and give them a cool pattern!
Personality Circles
Everyone's circle is special and unique because it is based on YOU! You draw what you like or whatever pops into your head. My example I drew my DS and a cat because I like to play games and kitties. I drew a wizard guy because I like stories with magic and adventure. And I was thinking about robots a lot at the time so I drew a robot! See how it works? Just draw your thoughts and things you enjoy!
The Impossible Bottle!
What do you not put in a bottle? Elephants? The sky? Ms.Keller?! Draw something that is impossible to put in a bottle! In my example I drew space! You can't bottle space after all! You need to draw as much as you can in your bottle. I still had room in my space bottle so i drew other random things like a car, book, and balloon. Let your imagination run wild!
